Well, it's been a few years and a few expansions, and the Purists have fleshed themselves out. Unlike the Dark Future era, you now have more options than the "Purist Acolyte" faction-splash deck (although it still isn't that bad).
The first thing you
need to do is scan through my Purist card review
and look through the Top Cards -- this will give you an idea of what you should
be thinking about playing. The second thing you need to learn is that the
are
faction -- if you don't have enough
resources in your pool, you are going to have trouble playing a lot of the top
cards.
